With both a Bachelor and Master’s degree in music from the Baku State Conservatory in Azerbaijan Rachad continued his studies here in Canada earning a Artists Diploma from the Royal Conservatory of Toronto. A highly gifted concert performer, chamber ensemble soloist, piano accompanist and teacher Rachad has been the recipient of a number of prestigious awards and scholarships: 1995 Frederick Harris Student Assistantship, Royal Conservatory of Music, Toronto; 1990-1995 Piano Faculty Scholarship, Azerbaijan State Conservatory, Baku, Azerbaijan; 1990 Gold Medal Winner, National Piano Competition, USSR.
